Description of Shop-Vac 962-16-00 16-Gallon Wet/Dry Vacuum
The Shop-Vac 16-gallon 6.25 HP wet/dry vacuum is ideal for the workshop, garage, auto, and home. This 16-gallon unit has a powerful 6.25 HP motor with improved sound reduction for enhanced vacuuming power and quieter operation. The filter system includes a cartridge filter and a full collection filter bag to keep the vacuum operating at its peak efficiency. The vacuum includes a locking nut to secure the hose to the tank inlet to prevent the hose from falling out during operation. A blower port and concentrator nozzle allow the vacuum to be used as a 200 MPH velocity blower, enabling the user to remove debris from stationary tools and work areas. Provided is a rear tool storage area and tool basket for versatility and convenience in storing vacuum accessories. An 18-foot power cord is also included for wide area coverage without the use of an extension cord The tank contains a large built-in drain to prevent clogging when draining liquid. Customer Review: Beast of a vacuum

Nothing gets in the way of this vacuum and it's goal - picking up any extraneous junk on your floor. I recently moved into a house that wasn't cared for all that well and this vacuum was one of my first purchases. It sucks the dust away from anything I point it towards, it cleaned up the entire basement - wood chips, bolts, pieces of cinder block, other things I didn't dare try to identify. I also appreciate the nice long cord which lets me use it outside (plugged in inside) as a leaf-blower.
My only gripe is that the extenders are constantly coming apart. Why isn't there any clip or notch or threads on it? I would deduct a half a star if I could, but if I really jam the parts together it doesn't bother me too much.
FYI - It came with all of the accessories pictured on this page.
